Well, let's see...borne into a military family and continued the family craft for 21 years. I have had the good fortune to live in Europe for about 14 years, Alaska, Hawaii, Korea and many states across the country...If I have not lived in your state...I surely have passed through it.
I'm a Kasey fan because the guy has class and knows how to handle himself and of course he drives a Dodge...yea, I know he's a good look'in guy and male Kasey fans catch crap all the time for it LOL! I don't care...he's Speed Racer man...the Elvis of NASCAR...who would not like to be like him...I sure drive like him, and Lorie gets pissed every time I drive....so she drive most of the time.
I'm easy to get along with...opinionated...but respect others as long as the issue never gets personal...no chance on this site that Diana created for us.
I like going to the gym to work out and think I;m in me 20s until the pain sets in!
We have 3 Siberian Huskys and we are a tight pack! We lost our Sasha (the first of 4) who is like my daughter...sorry we have a pack mentality when it comes to our Huskys...but Lorie and I make sure they know we are the Alphas in the pack..period!
I collect all of Kasey's diecasts...but have nobody to pass them onto when I die because my family are all non-NASCAR folks...so someone lucky will get them...I won't sell them...they will go to a true KK fan.
Married to me wife Lore...we met in Germany (she's from Alabama..but was the daughter of a First Sergeant) and got married in Heidelburg...a most beautiful city indeed...
One son Chris..as most of you know...he is also continuing the family craft of defending the realm...he is a tanker and will probably stay in for a career.
Most of all I like my fellow KK fans...most of you all are a super bunch of buddies and it's a pleasure to come on here and talk to ya'll...
Hi Dave, I have missed talking to you soooo much! I hope you will feel invited to write me sometime and say hi ok? Wishing you and your family to have a wonderful Christmas and hope all is well. Please let me know if you guys are doing ok.
Dave!! I'm glad you found me on Facebook. It's definitely been a while. I interned in a third grade classroom this past semester and had absolutely no free time! lol Because of the team-planning I was required to do (just because my friend and I had to teach in classrooms where the teachers were best friends!) I would be at school from 7:00 to almost 6:00 at night for a good 3 months. It was ridiculous! Talk about exhausted! Anyway.... I graduated in May and now I'm working on my Master's Degree. I'm only taking one class right now so I have time for VK and facebook. lol And of course the beach!
How are you? Is your neck completely better now? Sad story, one of my friends got t-boned when he was 26 and he's been in pain for 4 years now. He was doing so much better until last weekend. He stepped off of the curb and said he had excruciating pain go through his back. Then he blacked out and hit his curb on the pavement. They still haven't figured out what is wrong with him.
Did you see the race Sunday. I could have slapped AJ across the face! It was one of the few races I have watched this year. A lot of times I would be driving back from Raleigh on Sunday's during the semester. That and I'm not as crazy about racing as I used to be. I've become a Carolina Hurricanes fanatic!! lol I have met almost all of the players, some of them a few times. My bf and I go to a lot of their practices. They are open to the public and there are usually less than 20 fans there and you can sit right up against the glass. Much to my bf's dismay some of the players try to get my attention by knocking on the glass or shooting pucks at the wall near me. Then they try to show off. Lol. And one of the younger players smiled at me and attacked the captain, pushing him into the wall. Maybe that's why I'm a canes fan.... hahahahaha.
Well i just realized it is after one and I just wrote you a whole book. I ate a big stick of rock candy so I had a sugar high. haha Hope you have a good week!
